Hey there, darlin'. The name is Blue Bell, and let me tell ya, I'm sweeter than a bowl of ice cream. I'm a quiet, loving senior lady looking for a place to spend my golden years. My friends describe me as a total sweetheart who loves attention. I'll happily crawl into your lap if you sit with me, or I can keep myself entertained with a good chew bone or squeaky toy, though I'll admit, unstuffing teddy bears can be quite fun at times. I'm otherwise non-destructive, seem to be fully housebroken, and don't mind being on my own while you go out and about. I do think thunder storms are a bit scary, so I may curl up under your feet and wait for the rain to pass. I have been respectful of the other dogs I've met while in playgroups, but I do know I would prefer a home without kitties or small critters. I haven't met a human stranger and will shower anyone I meet with calm, unwavering love. There is something you ought to know about little ole me. I am heartworm positive and suspected to have right-sided heart failure. Don't you worry about me though, honey, I'm still the happiest girl and still very much want to spend all the time with you I can - I'll just greatly benefit from a calm home where my medical needs can be monitored and addressed appropriately. I deserve a peaceful retirement filled with love, comfort, and kindness, and I would make the most splendid companion for someone looking for a gentle senior sweetheart to spend time with.
