Meet Roxy VII

8/16/2026Roxy VII is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Roxy VII! I am a beautiful 8 year old flashy fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to my original owner abandoning me at a boarding facility and my current caretaker is unable to keep me. I am described as friendly, active, noisy, and playful! I do not live with other dogs but when in the kennel I am not friendly when meeting them and will also bark and jump so I would do best as an only dog. It is unknown if I am cat friendly and although I live with a 16 year old, I do tend to be hyper without spatial awareness and love to jump and play rough with kids. I am house trained, crate trained, know basic commands, and eat authority sensitive gut food with a small amount of pumpkin puree on it to help with my anxiety. At night I sleep at the boarding facility and if the humans must be away I bark for a minute, then will lay down. If I'm left alone for a longer period of time, the humans will give me a bone or a long lasting chew to keep me busy. When outside I do not attempt to jump fences/gates but am curious what is under the grass and will dig to find out. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, rope toys, chews, sitting in the sunshine, and pretty much everything! My current caretaker says I am "super sweet" and I agree!
