Meet Ma-Lady

MEET MA-LADY Ma-Lady is trying her best to adjust to the noise and chaos of shelter life. At 8 years old, it can all be a little overwhelming for this gentle senior girl. Ma-Lady was surrendered after the family who had recently added her to their pack found that the new dynamics weren’t the right fit. They had only had her for a few months, so unfortunately, we don’t know much about her life before then. What we do know is the sweet soul standing in front of us today. ❤️Ma-Lady is calm, mellow, and gentle. She moves a little slower these days and takes her time getting from one place to another. She isn’t looking for excitement—she’s looking for comfort, companionship, and someone to love. She never soils her kennel, so we believe she should transition very well back into a house-training routine. Ma-Lady has also not shown reactivity toward any of the dogs at the shelter. As always, we recommend slow and careful introductions to resident pets. Because she’s an older lady with some aches and pains, she would likely do best without a young or overly exuberant dog constantly wanting to wrestle and play. And then there are her eyes. Ma-Lady has the kind of eyes that seem to look straight into your soul. At this stage of her life, she deserves something incredibly simple: A soft bed inside a home. Gentle hands. Quiet evenings. Lots of loving touch. And a family she can finally call her own. Ma-Lady deserves to spend her golden years knowing she is safe, wanted, and loved.
