Meet Janet
At 12 years young, Janet has perfected the art of the good life: slow sniffy walks, cozy beds, and staying as close to her favorite human as physically possible. ❤️ Janet is a calm, gentle senior girl who loves everyone she meets. She’s good with dogs, pretty much ignores cats, and is great with kids. She’s potty trained, crate trained, walks beautifully on leash, and has absolutely no interest in making life complicated. Toys? Eh. A cheeseburger? Maybe. Curling up in bed with you and following you from room to room? Now we’re talking. Janet was once sitting in a shelter with no interest and at the top of the euthanasia list. Thankfully, her foster saw that sweet face and knew she still had so much life and love left to give. She arrived nervous and unsure, but watching her learn to trust again has been pretty special. Now she sleeps in her foster’s bed, curls up in their lap, and happily follows them everywhere. Janet doesn’t need much from her forever home. Give her a comfy place to sleep, a leisurely sniff walk, plenty of cuddles, and a human to call her own. She’ll take care of the rest by being your sweetest little shadow. ❤️ All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
