Meet Floppers
At nine years old, Floppers still has the speed of a youngster, the curiosity of an explorer, and the heart of a total lovebug! This handsome boy has blossomed in foster care, and he’s looking and feeling better than ever! He loves affection, snuggling close to his people, making new friends, and racing around his yard like he has somewhere important to be! Floppers is sweet, smart, playful, housebroken, and gets along well with other dogs. He’s got plenty of pep in his step, but he’s just as happy coming inside to enjoy some quality cuddle time. Floppers' dream home includes: People who will shower him with love and affection and a securely fenced yard for his outdoor adventures. A wonderful bonus would be a canine companion (however he does need to be fed separately from other dogs), and a family willing to help him with his leash manners. Senior dogs have so much love left to give, and Floppers deserves a family who will give him the chance to show just how special he is. He does have a heart murmur but we had an Echocardiogram done and received very reassuring news that his heart is not enlarged and there are no changes to his lungs. He is on a medication called Vetmedin (current cost about $80/month) to help his heart to stay healthy. He is ready for a sleepover!
