Meet Gladys

Gladys – Sweet, Independent, and Spirited Gladys is a 9-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing 76 pounds. Don’t let her senior status fool you—this lovely lady still has plenty of pep in her step! Active senior: Gladys may pull a little on leash, but is very manageable. She enjoys getting outside and stretching her legs. Happy explorer: Once in the yard, Gladys is content to wander independently, sniffing every corner and enjoying leisurely sniff walks. Sweet once she settles in: Gladys may take some time to warm up and may not initially respond when called. Once comfortable, though, she accepts affection and particularly enjoys a good butt scratch. Potentially housetrained: Gladys eliminates immediately when taken outside, suggesting she may already have good potty habits. Gladys will likely be most successful in a solo-dog home where she can explore at her own pace, and receive plenty of love and butt scratches. She will do best with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with well-matched canine friends.
