Gracie – “Silver” female, 9 years, 72 lbs. Meet Gracie — 9 Years Young & Full of Love! Gracie came to us as a foster on September 4th after being surrendered when her beloved owner sadly passed away. What we quickly discovered is that this beautiful girl has an incredible amount of love left to give. ❤️ Since coming into our home, Gracie has become our constant shadow. She LOVES attention and being close to her people, but she loves swimming and fetching balls almost just as much. And yes… she actually brings the balls back! Gracie is active, playful, affectionate, and ready to enjoy this next chapter of her life with a family of her own. This girl is truly a sweetheart. Gracie loves: Tummy rubs Being close to her humans Giving lots of kisses Car rides — short or long! Meeting new people Swimming Playing fetch Gracie has never shown aggression toward other dogs, a baby, or the many people she has met. She is also a very quiet girl and rarely barks. There is one exception… she is NOT a fan of veterinarians! ❤️ Gracie is crate trained and does well staying loose in the house. But honestly, her favorite place is wherever her humans are. We are continuing to work with Gracie on leash manners and her tendency to pull. She is already settling beautifully into her routine and has even picked out her favorite spots outside for bathroom breaks. Because Gracie has a strong interest in bunnies, squirrels, and lizards, we recommend that she remain on leash whenever she is in an unfenced yard or out for walks. With continued training, patience, and guidance, we are confident she will continue to make wonderful progress. Gracie is smart, gentle, loving, and incredibly sweet. She has so much life left to live and so much love left to give. We truly believe she will make an amazing family dog and a loyal, devoted companion. She deserves a family who will love her, keep her safe, cherish her, and give her the chance to simply be the wonderful dog she is. Do you have room in your heart and home for this very special girl?
