Meet Hank

He is a sweet, engaging 64 lb boxer-retriever mix, 7 yrs. This easygoing guy is happiest spending time with his people. He enjoys car rides, leisurely walks, relaxing in the sunshine, and simply being part of everyday life. Hank rarely barks, walks nicely on leash, and has excellent manners both at home and out in public. While Hank appreciates a good nap, he hasn't forgotten how to have fun. He loves splashing around in a kiddie pool on warm days, enjoys chasing a tennis ball, and still gets an occasional burst of goofy enthusiasm because he's still young at heart. He has successfully lived with other dogs: Hank is currently doing well staying with a volunteer who has dogs of his own. He has a strong prey drive so he should not live in a home with cats. And since he prefers a calmer lifestyle, any potential adoptors should be an adults-only home or if children they should be old enough to respect his need for quiet and calm environment.
