Meet Hopper
Meet Hopper, a bouncy 9-year-old, 17-lb Miniature Schnauzer mix looking for his forever home! True to his name, Hopper loves to bounce in happy circles, do signature spins, and perform the cutest little toe-tap happy dances when he's excited. Don't let his age fool you—he has plenty of pep, personality, and love to give. Hopper is a total cuddle bug at heart who craves affection, though he is still sweetly figuring out how snuggling works. He is making incredible progress in his foster home; he is 90% potty trained, sleeps through the night in his crate, and has officially conquered his fear of stairs. He is also wonderful with other dogs. However, his future family must know that Hopper is a fast escape artist who will bolt if given the chance. He requires a secure home with a fenced yard and vigilant door management to keep him safe. He currently has a temporary buzz cut due to grooming needs, but his adorable scruffy coat will grow back as he reaches his healthy 25-pound target weight. Hopper just needs a patient, loving family to keep him safe, celebrate his milestones, and show him what it feels like to be truly cherished. Could you give this sweet, bouncy boy his happily ever after? To meet Hopper, please complete an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application
