Meet Icey

Meet Icey! Icey may be a little overwhelmed by shelter life, but step outside his kennel and you get to meet a completely different guy! In his kennel, Icey can become pretty wound up—spinning, jumping, and pacing along the walls. But once he’s out, he is friendly, affectionate, and eager to spend time with people. He stayed close to his handler, gently took treats, and responded well to guidance and door-training reminders. Icey is definitely a strong leash puller, but he is receptive to structure and direction. In playgroup, he started out with some stiff greetings before warming up and enjoying some play. He gave appropriate corrections and, most importantly, discovered his true calling, being in the pool. Icey absolutely loved splashing around in the pool and showed off his fun-loving side. This handsome guy would love a chance to trade his stressful kennel routine for a home where he can get exercise, enrichment, structure, and plenty of attention. Icey is affectionate, playful, and ready for his next adventure.
