Meet Jackson

Meet Jackson! Jackson is a sweet, snuggly gentleman who is happiest when he’s close to his people. He’s an easygoing guy who loves following his humans around, exploring the house, and keeping tabs on whatever is going on. If you’re sitting down, there’s a good chance Jackson would like to be right there with you—preferably receiving plenty of pets and scratches! His energy level is moderate, and he enjoys getting outside for walks and sniffing around. He walks nicely in his harness. He’s also a wonderful car companion and settles happily in the backseat. Jackson isn’t particularly interested in toys, but he has found something he considers much more important: attention from his people. He loves being petted and will make it very clear that he is always available for another round of scratches. He’s not much of a barker. At home, Jackson is happiest with his people around. He does get a little sad when left alone and may cry because, frankly, he would much rather be included in whatever you’re doing. Jackson is also being evaluated for some “old man” medical issues, which our team is currently working through and sorting out. We’ll continue to learn more about what he needs to feel his absolute best, but none of that changes what we already know: this boy is a total sweetheart who deserves to be loved and spoiled. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who will happily follow you around, snuggle up nearby, and remind you that there is always time for one more pet, Jackson is your guy.
