Meet King
King is a sweet, social guy who enjoys taking his time to explore the world around him. He loves following his nose on walks and checking out all the interesting smells, but he’s just as happy to stop for some attention along the way. King has shown a loose, wiggly body when meeting people and is quick to greet new friends with a wagging tail. He enjoys pets, belly rubs and squeaky toys, and takes treats gently. At 7 years old, King has a nice medium energy level and could be a great match for someone looking for an affectionate companion who still enjoys getting out and exploring. King is at risk for euthanasia due to the current shelter capacity. Currently the shelter is above capacity to adequately house and care for animals. King has been in shelter for over 30 days and would benefit from individualized attention with a foster, adopter or rescue partner.
