Meet Lucy
This sweet senior girl is looking for a loving home after the heartbreaking loss of her beloved owner. She has so much love left to give and is hoping to find a family who will offer her the comfort, security, and companionship she deserves in her golden years. She’s a laid-back lady who enjoys the simple things in life: cozy naps, gentle pets, and spending quiet time with her people. She isn’t looking for a life full of adventures or endless activity. Instead, she would thrive in a calm, low-energy household where she can relax, feel safe, and enjoy being loved. Losing her person has meant a big change in her life, and we would love to see her find a soft place to land and a family who understands the special bond that comes with adopting a senior dog. She may be a little older, but she still has plenty of love to share. Could you be the loving home she’s been waiting for? Give this sweet girl the peaceful, happy retirement she deserves. ??Notes from Lucy's doggy day out: She was hesitant about the car at first, so we had to hoist her in, but the second time she was much more eager to get into it (but still needed help, lol). She was so friendly to all people and wanted to meet everyone. No one is a stranger to Lucy! It's clear she really wants to say hi and play with other dogs, so she does pull on the leash, but that's nothing a little training won't fix. She is confident and proudly walks everywhere you want to go without any fear or hesitation. She does seem like she might not hear very well.. she was very unresponsive to sounds. Basically, she's the biggest love ever and has the sweetest disposition. Great with kids, men, old, young, she just has a soul full of love and joy.
