Meet Matt
Meet Matt! Matt is a sweet 10-year-old, 10-pound possible Chiweenie who believes there’s no such thing as too much snuggle time! This little guy may be a senior, but he has plenty of love to give and is happiest when he’s right beside his people. Matt does best with calmer dogs and would be most comfortable in a peaceful home. He’s also good with kids over 10 who understand how to be gentle and respectful with a small senior pup. One of Matt’s favorite things is curling up with his person. He loves to snuggle in bed and has an especially adorable habit of sitting on your shoulder while you relax on the couch . At night, he sleeps peacefully in his crate alongside his foster mom, even though he’d probably tell you his preferred sleeping arrangement is snuggled up in the big bed! Matt is still working on his housetraining , so his new family should be patient and willing to continue helping him learn. In return, they’ll get a devoted little companion who just wants to be loved. Matt is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and prevention , and weighs about 10 pounds. He is currently being treated for heartworms with Advantage Multi , which will be provided by LMP until he tests negative. Heartworm treatment typically takes 6–8 months , and his adopter will have support through that process. If you’re looking for a gentle little companion who loves to snuggle, Matt might be your guy! ❤️ Adoption fee: $300
