Meet Melanie Rose

Melanie Rose was found abandoned at a church in Pembroke Pines, FL. I am 8 years old, which means I have a lot of love stored up and I am very ready to give all of it to you. I love walks - genuinely, enthusiastically, every single time. I love stuffed animals and I take very good care of them. I love cuddles more than almost anything in the world and I am exceptionally good at them. I am told I am the biggest cuddle bug anyone here has ever met and I accept that title with full sincerity. I am potty trained and great in the car and fine on my own when I need to be. I have done a lot of hard things and I have handled all of them with more grace than anyone had a right to expect. All I need now is you. A patient home. A soft couch. Someone who understands that 8 years old is not too old - it is just the right age to finally get everything I deserve.
