Meet Patrick, A Papillon mix

Meet Patrick, our Papillon mix** Patrick is a sweet and loving Papillon mix, about 12 to 14 years old. Senior Dogs and Friends rescued him from the county shelter after he was found as a stray, and his previous owner did not come for him. Patrick is well-groomed, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines. Patrick is eating a Human-Grade dog food and is loving it! He receives supplements for his joints and muscles, and we are working on trimming the excess weight from his low-riding frame. Patrick enjoys his daily walks, rolling in the grass, cuddling on a chair or couch, and meeting new people. He gets along well with other friendly dogs and is comfortable around older, calm, respectful children. We are not sure yet how he reacts to cats, but we will update as soon as we have more information. He has lost most of his teeth from dental procedures, but we are caring for the ones he has left. Patrick will be ready for adoption in the first week of October. We are accepting applications now so he can meet potential adopters and be ready for his new home once his application is approved.
