Meet Rocket

Meet Rocket, our sweet 10-year-old senior boy who is ready for the softest chapter of his life. Rocket is the kind of dog who just wants to be close to his people. He absolutely loves being cuddled and is happiest when he can curl up beside someone and soak up all the love and attention. At 10 years old, he isn’t asking for much, just a comfortable place to rest, someone to love him, and a home where he can spend the rest of his years knowing he belongs. You may notice Rocket is missing some hair right now, but don’t let his patchy appearance fool you. He’s working on growing it back, and in the meantime, we think it just makes him even more lovable. His outside might need a little time to catch up, but his sweet personality already shines through. Senior dogs like Rocket deserve the chance to know the comfort of a home again. A warm bed. A cozy spot on the couch. Gentle hands to cuddle him. Someone who looks at his gray hairs and patchy coat and sees a dog who still has so much love left to give. We’re hoping there’s someone out there willing to open their heart and home to this sweet old man and give Rocket the retirement he deserves. Seems to do well with other dogs!
