Meet Scout

Meet Scout! Scout is a gorgeous rough Collie and is around 10 years old. Scout is a friend to creatures great and small. She has never known a stranger and is always happy to be around people. She can be sensitive to loud noises and does best in quieter environments. She will play fetch until she drops but isn't a ball hog and can play the game with other dogs. She knows all basic commands (come, sit, stay, down, away, heel, drop it, bring it, leave it) and several fun tricks (speak, shake, sit up and beg). She would do best in a home with adults who enjoy being active and spending a lot of time with their dog. She can be vocal, which is typical for her breed. She knows the command for "quiet" but needs frequent reminders when there is a lot of activity going on outside. Scout is well trained and has a stable and reliable personality. She is moderate in energy and has a good off switch to relax when her humans wants to relax too. She is friendly/playful with adults, teens and school aged children and does well with other dogs (large and small) as well as cats. She travel well in the car. She is not suitable for a home with children under 6. She prefers not to be crated when you are away - she has some confinement anxiety but does well outside of the crate. Scout is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $295
