Meet Shaggy

Shaggy is a male dog who presented bright, alert, and responsive (BAR) with severe dental disease and a mass located on his right front limb (RF). His significant dental disease requires veterinary evaluation and treatment to address potential pain, infection, and further complications. Additionally, the mass on his right front limb requires further diagnostic testing, such as cytology or biopsy, to determine whether it is benign or neoplastic and to establish the most appropriate treatment plan. Shaggy needs a safe, compassionate placement where he can receive comprehensive veterinary evaluation, appropriate dental treatment, and diagnostic testing of his limb mass to determine the nature of the growth and any necessary intervention. The diagnostics, potential specialized treatment, and follow-up care needed for these conditions exceed what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment.
