Meet Sky #3

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Sky #3 finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 72 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails) . Sky #3 | 12-Year-Old Bull Terrier | A Sweet Girl with a Playful Spirit Sky is a sweet, friendly Bull Terrier who still loves to make new friends! At 12 years old, this 60-pound girl enjoys her walks, car rides, chewing on a good bone, and getting lots of love and attention. She’s a social butterfly who wants to say hello to every person and dog she meets, and she has a playful, easygoing personality that makes her a joy to be around. Sky is house trained, typically having zero to one accident, and lets you know she needs to go outside by standing near the door. As with any dog adjusting to a new home, accidents can happen in a new environment while she settles in. She walks beautifully on a leash, knows commands like “sit,” “come,” and “no,” and is great with kids of all ages. She also gets along well with other dogs and is happy with moderate daily activity followed by some quality couch time. Sky has a few adorable quirks, including a little prance, happy dances, and resting her head on you when she wants some affection. She loves treats and bones, so making her happy isn’t hard! Sky would love a home with a backyard, ideally a doggy door, and perhaps another friendly dog to keep her company and play with. She hasn’t met any cats yet, so her compatibility with them is unknown. Sky has shown a bit too much interest in the window blinds when left home alone, so her new family will need to help manage that behavior and determine whether crate training is a good fit. If you’re looking for a loving, sociable companion who enjoys the simple pleasures in life, Sky may be your girl! If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $125. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking here . Please give us 72 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls.
