Meet Sugar

Looking to be smothered by furry snuggles? Look no further! Sugar will gladly oblige! Seriously, Sugar is the perfect name for this sweet girl, and someone is going to be lucky to get her. Playful, quiet, cuddly, and calm, Sugar is easy to have around the house. After being a bit overwhelmed at the shelter, less than 24 hours in a foster home and she was trotting around in the backyard like she owned the place. Sugar is housetrained and knows her basic commands, doing a perfect sit for treats, putting on her harness, or whenever needed. She responds to food and treats so will be easy for any additional training you might want to do. She loves getting pets from strangers out in public (because who can pass by that adorable face without saying hi?). Sugar does well with other dogs wtih a proper slow introduction but has a high prey drive so cats and small animals in the home might not be the best. Sugar can be left home alone for a long period of time without separation anxiety issues and even taught herself how to use the doggy door. She is easy to walk on leash and will enjoy a nice stroll or laying down cuddling with you on the couch. Sugar is looking for her forever home where she can just be her happy self with lots of love and cuddles to give.
