Meet Summer

Here Comes the Sun… and Her Name Is Summer! Summer is a beautiful 7-year-old, 58-pound Labrador Retriever mix. She is an incredibly sweet, gentle, friendly girl who walks beautifully on a leash and is already potty trained. Sadly, Summer was surrendered along with her dog sister because their owner was reportedly moving and couldn't take them along. Before arriving at the Shelter, both girls stayed at a local dog boarding facility where they reportedly did wonderfully! Summer will clearly do well in a home with other dogs. She encountered turkeys and didn't react to them! While she didn't do anything wrong to end up at the shelter, Summer's whole world simply changed, and now she's waiting for someone to give her a second chance. Summer is the kind of girl who makes an ordinary day feel a little brighter. At 7 years young, she still has so much love to give.
