Meet Winnie

Meet Winnie. Winnie’s story didn’t start out easy, but she is ready for a forever home where she will finally know what it means to be loved and cared for. Winnie was found along the frontage road of a highway and came into rescue in heartbreaking condition. She was extremely skinny, suffering from fleas and significant fur loss, and had already lost the majority of her teeth, leaving only her back molars. She also arrived with an infected, ruptured mammary tumor that required medical care and started on antibiotics. Yet through everything she has endured, Winnie has remained the sweetest girl. She absolutely loves being with her people and just wants to be close to the ones she trusts. She is affectionate, gentle, and grateful for every bit of love and attention she receives. Winnie is also good with other dogs and would love a home where she can spend her days feeling safe, comfortable, and cherished. She is quiet, laid back, prefers to be sleeping on the sofa, and relax. Winnie’s adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, vaccines, dental, microchip, 4DX testing, and she is current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. She did test positive for anaplasma and is finishing treatment. Winnie will also need to be fed wet/soft food, as she has no teeth remaining.
