Meet Wooda

WOODA — Ready for Retirement ❤️ At 10 years old, Wooda has earned the right to spend his golden years somewhere soft, warm, and loved. Wooda came to us with two other dogs after living unhoused on the streets. Life hadn’t exactly been easy on this senior gentleman. His toenails were so overgrown that they were affecting the way he walked, and he was more than ready for a little TLC. Then came a warm bath, a good meal, a much-needed nail trim, and a soft bed. If Wooda could talk, we’re pretty sure he’d say: “East Ridge Animal Services is a pretty nice place. The people here REALLY care about me.” And what a difference a little care has made. His feet are feeling much better, he’s more comfortable, and now there’s just one thing left on Wooda’s retirement plan: A HOME. 🏡 He doesn’t need anything fancy. He needs a soft bed, good meals, gentle hands, and someone who will let a 10-year-old boy finally exhale and know that he’s home for good. Wooda is available through East Ridge Animal Services. Adoption fee: $75 Hours: Monday–Friday, 10 AM–5 PM, and the first & third Saturday of the month.
