After nearly 5 years of waiting, Jersey Shore shelter dog finally adopted

Duke, a coonhound mix, spent nearly five years at the Humane Society of Ocean City before finally being adopted. He arrived at the shelter in the summer of 2021 and became a familiar face, appearing in People magazine and being featured on NBC10 Jersey Shore. Despite his long stay, the shelter remained committed to finding him a loving home. Recently, Duke was adopted and is now thriving with his new family, having made a new canine friend and settling in beautifully.
