Fur Baby Friday: bonded besties Taco and Dixie are looking for a forever home together

Taco, a 9-year-old Aussiedoodle, and Dixie, an 8-year-old Labrador mix, have found themselves at CHA Animal Shelter after their previous owner could no longer care for them. The shelter emphasizes that these bonded best friends must be adopted together, as they are inseparable. Dixie is affectionate and loves attention, while Taco is quieter but equally loving. CHA Animal Shelter, located in Westerville, has been serving Central Ohio since 1975, focusing on adoption, education, and community outreach to reduce pet overpopulation. The shelter is currently looking for a loving home for Taco and Dixie, highlighting the benefits of adopting senior dogs who are often overlooked. Interested individuals can also support the shelter by participating in the 36th annual Dog Jog on October 4 at Genoa Park in Columbus. To adopt Taco and Dixie or to learn more about the event, visit the shelter's website.
