Meet Bernadette

This sweet 10-year-old Chihuahua mix is a gentle little soul looking for a cozy place to call home. She’s quiet, shy, and low-energy, and once she feels comfortable, she loves nothing more than curling up beside her favorite people. She peacefully gets along with dogs, cats, and children, though loud or energetic young kids can be a little overwhelming for her. She’s still working on her potty training and will need a patient family willing to give her time, love, and encouragement. If your idea of a perfect day involves a soft couch and a sweet little cuddle buddy, she might be your girl! Bernadetter had all of her teeth extracted due to end stage periodontal disease. Dogs without teeth can still eat and enjoy a normal, happy life, but they may need soft or moistened food that is easy to eat and swallow.
