Meet Marvelous Missy

Meet Marvelous Missy! Somehow, this sweet little love bug found herself in a rural Tennessee shelter. She has come a long way since her stay in the shelter. When Missy arrived, she was a little butterball who desperately needed to lose a few pounds, likely from eating too much people food. After a couple of months with Miss Peggy, Missy has regained her girlish figure and is now ready to find her forever family. Missy is 8 years old and now weighs only 10 lbs. She is very proud of her accomplishment and would love a family who will help her maintain her healthy weight. Missy enjoys going for walks, so keeping her in shape should be easy. This little lady will trot happily along, taking in all the sights and sounds. She’ll make an excellent exercise buddy. Missy never meets a stranger—she adores everyone, including people, other dogs, and even cats. She is a happy-go-lucky girl who will fit in anywhere. If you don’t know your neighbors or are new to a neighborhood, Missy will make sure you meet everyone. When she’s not out on a jaunt, Missy loves to snuggle up next to you. She is always ready to read a book or watch a movie. You can’t go wrong by adding this sweet girl to your family.
