I'm adoption-ready and with my foster family! Meet Porridge! Porridge is a 10-year-old white and brown pointer mix, and she is exactly as comforting as her name suggests. Ten years have given her a lovely, settled sort of grace — she moves through the world gently, greets people softly, and seems genuinely pleased by the company of anyone willing to sit with her a while. She's an affectionate girl who'd be happy to spend an afternoon leaning against your leg while you read, or heading out for a walk at whatever pace suits the day. There's no rush with Porridge. She's already done her growing up, and what she's interested in now is good company and a comfortable place to be. She would do beautifully in a calm, loving home with people who appreciate everything a senior girl has to offer — and she has a great deal to offer.
