Meet Rocky

Rocky is an adorable 10-pound chihuahua with the heart of a lion. Equally comfortable on your lap soaking up ear scritches and neck rubs, or running through tall grass to retrieve his tiny tennis ball. He can be happy in the front seat of your car, stretched out in a sunny patch on your patio, or cruising the sidewalk of your favorite city. Rocky is very funny! He will tease you with the tennis ball and pretend to not give it, but he really wants you to throw it again. He barks angrily at windshield wipers and UPS trucks, but nibbles his "mr lamb" toy with the tenderness of a new father. Rocky is a bit of a work in progress. He's not too fond of other dogs, so will be happiest in one-dog household. He has not been tested with cats and children . He walks beautifully on a leash but does not know basic commands like "sit" or "stay'. That said, he is very treat-motivated and young enough to still learn new tricks. Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption.
