Somebody Stole This Disabled Pit Bull's $800 Pink Wheelchair Right Off The Front Porch, And She Can't Walk Without It

On August 22, a senior pit bull named Baby, who relies on a specialized pink wheelchair to walk, had her mobility device stolen from the porch of Pittie Party of Central Florida, a rescue organization. Baby, a hospice resident, cannot walk or go to the bathroom without her wheelchair, which cost around $800. The rescue is working with the St. Cloud Police Department to find the stolen wheelchair and identify the thief. They have also started a fundraiser to cover Baby's medical expenses and to replace the stolen wheelchair. Fortunately, on August 25, Ruck9, another organization, stepped in to order a new pink wheelchair for Baby. The rescue will refund donations made for the replacement wheelchair and will update the public once the new chair arrives. The original wheelchair has not yet been recovered, and the community has expressed outrage over the theft of Baby's mobility aid.
