How this photographer gives shelter pets a ‘stronger shot' at adoption

Adam Goldberg, a professional photographer, founded Stronger Shot Adoption Photos to help shelter animals find homes through professional photos and videos. Initially working in marketing, Goldberg's passion for animal photography began at the Humane Society of Broward County in Florida, where he was exposed to various animals and learned the impact of a good photo. After leaving the shelter for a marketing job, he returned to volunteering and eventually started Stronger Shot, which has photographed over 1,100 shelter animals this year. The organization collaborates with shelters across the country, focusing on pets that need a better chance at adoption, such as senior dogs and black dogs. One notable success story is Amelia, a 6-year-old pit bull who was adopted by a resident in Brooklyn after a Stronger Shot photoshoot went viral.
